This pizza bar is a little out of the way, part of what makes it such a great place to go. They probably have my favorite pizza in the city, even with a rather sparse menu. Dough, sauce, even the sausage is made in house and is nearly perfect every time. Combine that perfect pizza with 12 taps of ever rotating local craft beer along with a well curated bottle list focusing on Belgian styles. You can almost always find Russian River Blind Pig on draft and Pliny in bottles.
Beer Hall
Close to many transit lines and an always fresh tap list. Good selection of beer to go as well. Across the street from the Twitter HQ -- good place to sit, get drunk, and tweet @Jack about how much he screwed up a good thing.
Magnolia Brewing – Haight
Warm and comfortable brewpub with great people watching on Haight from the high top tables. Brewery is tucked away in the basement. Serves house made and guest taps. Generally well above bar.

Amazing staff make this sunny open bar a great place to relax and enjoy a pint or other drink. Good selection of house brews and guest taps. Decent food though a bit over priced for non-tourist San Francisco restaurants.

The original and the best craft beer bar in San Francisco, perhaps the world. 55 taps of well maintained beers, constantly changing selection. Favorite place for day drinking. Note: Cash only, be nice, order promptly, tip well. If you have a problem with the bartenders here it's because of you.
